Q: I have an existing laminate / formica countertop on my cabinets. Can you remove it for me? A: Yes, we can and will remove your old existing countertop. The old top will be removed and discarded. Q: I also have an electric cooktop / gas cooktop and a kitchen sink. Will you disconnect them and reconnect them after the new countertop is installed? A: In most cases, Baystate Countertop can only disconnect your sink and electric cooktop during the removal of your old existing countertop. Baystate Countertop strongly recommends that a licensed plumber and electrician will be needed in reconnecting these appliances. Baystate Countertop can arrange for a licensed plumber and electrician. Q: Is there anything I need to do after my new countertops are installed? A: Not really. Just some general maintenance. Baystate Countertop will provide you with information on how to maintain your new countertops such as maintenance tips for granite tops / marble tops / cizar stone / corian / quartz.
